I went yesterday to the spot and the lady's there and unfriendly I have been going there for years the owner the guy is pleasant it also seem like they cutback on the portion of meat on the sandwich I hope this is a isolated incident . I was told the owner works on the weekend I will visit then at least I will get better service and potential the original portion of meats.
Excellent Subs!!! Chicken Parm, Turkey Club with everything, and Hot Pastrami are our favorites.
My wife and I stopped by Wednesday afternoon and picked 4 subs. One Tuna, an Italian, and two Philly Cheesesteak hot subs. All four subs were made to order from fresh ingredients and bread. All the subs were delicious! I believe this sub shop is better than Tasty Subs in Edison and is less expensive to boot. I highly recommend DA Subs!!

I've been hearing about D A Subs for a while with its great reviews. So I tried it out and it was pretty good. I'm very spoiled having been raised on Tastee Subs in Edison. Unfortunately NOTHING compares to them no matter how many places I've tried! However DA Subs were pretty darn close. Drawbacks were 1. Cash only option 2. Completely outdated menu online 3. Kind of limited menu choices. In any event I would return as Edison is a hike and DA's is minutes away and satisfies for a NJ SUB craving!

They have an ATM now and their subs are better than ever. The owners are friendly and service is quick. It makes up for not being able to take credit/debit directly in the year 2024.
It's one of those timeless no nonsense hole in the wall gems. Great value, quality ingredients, they never skimp and are consistent, these are the best Italian subs around. Great bread, fresh lettuce, cold cuts are sliced fresh for each sub. I always get the Italian sub w lettuce, hot peppers, banana peppers, oil, vinegar, and oregano. (For me no onions. Sometimes I get mayo) Great turkey sandwiches. Great for catering a party or a picnic. I've been going here for years and they don't disappoint. Whenever I visit home to see my family I always get these subs. They're great to take to the beach. All my family and friends love this place.
